Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Princess

Wow! How fast one year has passed by sweet baby girl - you have been a true blessing to us. I can hardly believe it was just a short 365 days ago that you joined our family, it seems like you have been here forever. Mommy has written a letter for you, and placed it in your baby box, which is very full of special treasures that we have saved for you. I even worked on your baby book this week - how is that for special? I remember when we found out we were expecting you, everyone said it was your Gramma Simpson who sent you to us and that you would be a little girl to complete our family. Gramma always told us 3 was a crowd, and we'd have to round it out with another. Mommy remembers laughing at Gramma, saying "never" - so yes, now Mommy believes you were sent by your very own Guardian Angel from above, her photo hangs in our living room so we can see her face every day. It sure feels nice to have a little less testosterone in the household - I'm quickly learning that you're just like the boys though, rough and tough - I've been dressing you girly as often as I can, it will end soon I'm sure.

You now have 6 teeth, can roll your arms to do the "Wheels on the Bus" song, shake your head no and call yourself by name "Dolly, dolly, dolly" I can't wait to give you your first taste of chocolate cupcake later on today - I'm sure followed by a nice warm bath and a bottle and cuddle in your jammies. You still have those deep belly laughs when the dog barks and a big grin for your brothers when they walk into the room. You love to meet up with your girlfriends to play at Little Feet and still have that uncanny love for Blueberries, earlier this summer you went on a food strike, only eating blueberries - I'm glad to say it's now over and you're back to eating anything you can! Here's some pics from your first year!
