Lauren's 5 months

Image
Here's some recent pics of the princess - she looks chunky but she's actually quite petite!

So what do you spend your time doing?

I used to scrapbook or at least spend hours looking online for the perfect "princess" paper for Lauren's album or page kits to help me cheat. Some nights I'd catch up on shows that I PVR'ed like Survivor, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. However, I was recently introduced to facebook and now I find I don't do much of anything except hang out on there and talk to old friends, lol. Check it out if you haven't joined already!

Snow Play 2007

Kevin Dylan Ryan Snowman! > Kevin > >

So I get a call from Kevin's teacher

and shockingly, it was GOOD news. His journal entry that he did yesterday was the best one that he's done all year! He wrote about his Poppa who went away to Myrtle Beach - 100 miles from here ;) And that when he came back - he'd bring us pies from MacMillans! He can remember so many details - but somehow can't seem to keep his laundry picked up or do his homework without being reminded. Both boys are excited that soon (not soon enough in my case) they'll be moving up a grade and Ryan will start going all day long. Can you say "freedom" LOL

Making the big move

Dylan has made the big move from a crib - to a toddler bed! For a few weeks he's been constantly climbing up and over the rail and nap and bedtime - so for his safety we took down the side rail and put up a bedrail. Now he can climb in and out with ease - and the transition was pretty easy. I had to move some stuff in his room up higher and I can't use the double bed in his room to store clean, unfolded laundry anymore - means I actually have to fold & put stuff away the same day *sigh* The good part is, now Lauren will have a crib to move into. She's outgrowing the bassinet now - I remember when she looked so tiny in it! We were thinking about getting a 2nd crib, so Dylan wouldn't have to move before he was ready - luckily, he was more than willing to give it up! Next step for him - potty training!

4 Months Old

I'm slacking a little but here is Lauren's 4 month photos. She's sweet baby, had her checkup and she weighs an 11 pounds even and 24 inches long - skinny but tall! Lauren wasn't impressed with her needles, but wasn't very fussy at all and no reaction. She's sleeping through the night, loves to hang out in her bumbo chair and watch everyone. I can't wait for the warmer weather, she loves being outside, and falls asleep in her stroller by the time we hit the end of the driveway!! Lauren has started to laugh out loud, she finds Nyla very funny and giggles when Nyla is playing and barks. She also found her feet, she's always touching or grabbing at them, trying to put her robeez in her mouth - which I've assured her don't taste too good!
