3 Months Old!

I said to Gary tonight, I can't believe he's 3 months! It really doesn't seem like that long ago he was born. He's the most cheerful little guy, has smiles and stories for everyone who gets within his sight! He sleeps great, 3-4 naps a day, plus all night from about 9pm until 7am, waking maybe once to eat. Being so laid back, he has no interest in attempting to roll over, he just lays there and grins at you, until you pick him back up, lol. He's starting to like tummy time, but still won't push himself over onto his back. I can tell he won't be my milestone baby, he prefers to just lounge around and watch everyone. I swear if he didn't squeak to eat every now and then, we'd never know he was here. Dylan adores the car, going for drives with Daddy anywhere and hanging out in the snugli.

Another Midwife Visit

I think she should just move in, she's here enough! LOL Everything is great, baby is still doing great and has dropped, I'm now measuring a week behind which means he's ready to go! Blood pressure, heart rate and urine are all perfect and I sent my GBS ( http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/1647.html ) swab off for testing. I didn't have GBS with either of the boys, but back then they didn't test for it anyways. If I test positive, just means I'll recieve antibiotics in labour, not a huge deal, but better to know ahead of time. So now we're just waiting for him to arrive - everything but MY bag is packed and ready to go! We spent the last week around here battling the sickies, and Gary's back to work tonight after being off for two weeks, which was very nice!! However he's back on his old schedule so he'll work two nights and then be off two nights, easier for him to get more rest and help out around here!! I see the Midwife again on April 8th if I m...

The Arrival Of Dylan

I'll start off by saying, I got the natural birth I had planned on all along!! I was so sure I'd go overdue and end up being induced - I guess I scared him out of me!! Towards the end, it became quite rushed ;) I'd been having regular bouts of contractions for weeks now, so Monday didn't start out any different. I began my morning with my Red Raspberry Leaf tea and then we went shopping at Walmart in the morning, getting the boys sand toys that I had been promising them for weeks and then to McD's for breakfast. We got home, had two more cups of tea and then did some cleaning. Around lunch, I realized these contractions were not only getting more regular, but were beginning to move down into my back - so I timed them and they were about 7-10 minutes apart lasting 30 seconds or so, not painful at all - very early labour.
