10 Week Photos

Here's Dylan at 10 weeks old.

Dylan's Two Months Old!

Holy crap - someone slow time down!!! He had his two month visit today at the family Doctor - and got 2 needles. I don't miss the clinic at all - lots of waiting, sick people - we want our midwife back!! Anyways he got a clean bill of health, everything looks great - he now weighs 11 pounds 5 ounces and is 22.5 inches long. So that's a 5 pound, 2 inch gain in two months We go back in 2 months for more needles. Dylan continues to be an awesome laid back baby. He's only fussy when hungry, other than that he doesn't cry. He loves his swing, going for walks in the stroller and just sitting outside watching the trees. He adores his brothers and always has a smile for them when they get within his view.

We took the boys to the beach close to our house (one we could swim at! unlike our local beach) and they had a great time! Kevin was off on his own, so didn't get many photos of him - but one of Dylan and a few of Ryan who was hamming it up!! It actually got chilly there after dinner! Having a freezie before we left

6 Weeks Old!!!

Holy cow does time fly! We saw Carolynn at the clinic this morning for his 6 week checkup the last before we're back to our family doctor. He's doing GREAT! He's now up to 10 pounds, 2 ounces and 22.5 inches long, which is almost a 4 pound gain in 6 weeks. He's smiling all the time and trying to "talk" to us. He's an awesome sleeper, going down around 9pm, back up at 3am to eat and then down until 6am - sometimes he gets up then for the day, or has a little nap until 8am. During the day, he sleeps when he can, in the car, someones arms, in his swing, bouncer chair - he sleeps a lot. Feeding wise, he's doing well too - the shield is working for us, so I've been using that and hoping in the next few weeks to have him off the bottle and then will work on weaning the shield so he's on the breast completely. Domperidone, oatmeal and fenugreek work wonders for supply!!! Now if only I could find more time for pumping!! He's eating every 2-4 hours...
