Second trimester energy burst...
For the last 10 weeks or so, it's all I can do to get out of bed in the morning and get Kevin off to school. Waiting for Gary to get home from work, and then would run for as long as a nap as possible. Between consuming everything in sight, and sleeping the day away - nothing was getting done around here.
Finally, since last week - my energy has returned and I'm getting stuff done. Laundry has been washed, folded AND put away on the day it's done, instead of a week later. Dinner has been more than something out of a can and heated up, and the kids are in bed at a decent hour - in their OWN beds.
Now comes the plan of how the rooms are going to be re-organzied and where new baby "Norman" as the boys call him is going to sleep. Somehow, Kevin's come up with the idea he can get bunk beds, and Norman can sleep on the bottom. Ryan says he can share his toddler bed, I think, and Gary agrees that he'd be much happier in a bassinet beside our bed or tucked away safe in his own crib. I'm sure the boys think the torment of their new sibling can't begin soon enough - lets just hope he has better sleeping habits than his brothers do.
