I got a reply today that my midwife's name is Carolynn and I meet her on September 13th - making me 8 weeks pregnant. At that time we'll go over general information and see if I'm a good fit for midwife care, talk about my pre-natal history and go from there. We'll also see how we mesh, and if everything goes well - we can get started on pre-natal stuff!

So we decided with all we've been through with Ryan's pregnancy, with my lack of pre-natal care and non-existant birth support that we wouldn't be returning to the OB that delivered both Kevin and Ryan - nor would we be seeing any OB at all, and that we would seek a Midwife to do my primary care this time around. I've placed two calls, one to the midwives that work at our local hospital and ones who work out of Markham/Stouffville - I'm hoping to get the local ones since I can see the hospital from my house - but unsure since they are newer and might not be taking on many clients right now.

As suspected, the pregnancy test was positive! There's gonna be another MacLeod to add to the bunch in 9 months from now, lol. I've got a long 35 weeks ahead of me, lets hope it's uneventful like Kevin's pregnancy was - and nothing like Ryan's. As before, we're hoping for a boy - but a healthy girl would be just fine for us too! There's going to be a much bigger age difference between the kiddos this time around, Kevin will be 5.5 and Ryan 3.5 when the new baby arrives - the boys were just 22mos apart - and it worked so well, this time around the babe will be just 5mos old when Ryan starts kindy - such a different experience, lol.
